I was wondering if the next article would appear during the playoffs (joke). just one comment, if you listed Turiaf as a Key loss, then you should include Josh Powell as a key addition, since both of them provide basically the same thing (rebounding ferocity). Last year I thought the Lakers over-acheived and were to young, inexperienced, injured and soft to win the Title. This year, barring major injuries, they are primed to get back to the finals. They are more experienced, more tough, deeper, hungrier, and based on the first few games are commited to playing tough/agressive defense. It was also good to hear Phil say one of the goals this year is to have the best record so they could have home-court advantage (a big bonus) throughout the playoffs. This will help keep the players focused no matter who they play in the regular season so no team will be taken for granted. There is strong competition so it will be a tough road back, but I think the team is really ready this time. I really believe Kobe's toughness, drive , will, deternination and work-ethic has rubbed off on several of his teammates, so for the first time he's going into the season with a talentd, tough, battle-tested team.
